Our Snow Sheep is also called Kamchatka Big Horn. This one is on the trophy list of Sheep hunters all over the World. The average curl length is 32 – 36 inches. Every year our guests get trophies from 38 to even 40 + inches!
The best time to hunt Big Horn in our area is from August 1 till September 10.
Hunting camps are located at the elevation of 3000 feet and we can get there using big Russian ATV or horses. We also use horses while hunting and moving from one camp to another, but mostly the whole hunting is done by foot. Hunters should be ready to cover 5 or 7 miles a day by mountain terrain.
We provide accommodation in nice hunting cabins with wood stoves.
The weather in Kamchatka is very unstable that is why we recommend 2 weeks trip duration.
The packages includes:
- hunting permits;
- auto transfers from the Petropavlovsk airport to hunting area and back to the hotel in Petropavlovsk.
- veterinary certificate;
- CITES
- English speaking receptionist when hunters arrive and depart from the airport in Petropavlovsk to assist in the smooth entry and exit from Kamchatka;
- guide service (the ratio of our very qualified guides to every hunter is 1:1);
- field preparation of the trophy;
- all camp accommodations and meals.
Not include:
- the expenses prior to arrival in Petropavlovsk, and after departure from there to Moscow/Anchorage;
- accommodation and meals outside the camp;
- neither are alcohol, items of a personal nature, or gratuities part of the package;
- cost of the extra trophy;
- excess airline baggage charges;
- tips.
